The PS Plus October 2026 games are now available. Until November 2, PlayStation Plus members can add three new games to their library at no extra cost.
This month mixes racing, a tense extraction shooter and a colourful co-op action game. Here is what’s included, when to claim it and which plan you need.
The Three Games This Month
Sony picked three very different titles for October:
| Game | Platform | Genre |
|---|---|---|
| F1 25 | PS5 | Racing |
| Hunt: Showdown 1896 | PS5 | Extraction shooter |
| Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 | PS5, PS4 | Co-op action |
F1 25 is the official game of the 2025 Formula One season, so it suits anyone who wants a full racing career. Hunt: Showdown 1896, by contrast, drops you into a dark bounty hunt where every match can end in a single mistake. Finally, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 lets you build a squad of four and fight giant monsters together.
When You Can Claim Them
The games are available from October 6 until November 2. After that date, Sony swaps them for the November lineup.
So make sure you add them to your library before November 2. Once you claim a game, it stays yours to play for as long as your PlayStation Plus membership is active.
Which PS Plus Plan You Need
All three games are part of every PlayStation Plus tier. In other words, Essential is enough, and Extra or Premium members get them too.
You do need an active membership, though. If your plan runs out, you lose access to the monthly games until you renew. Moreover, Extra and Premium members still get the larger Game Catalog on top of these three titles.
