Clair Obscur and 8 More Games Leave Xbox Game Pass on October 15

On October 15, nine games leave Xbox Game Pass. The biggest name on the list is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, one of the most praised RPGs of 2025, but A Plague Tale: Requiem, Pacific Drive and Evil West go too.

If you’re in the middle of one of them, there isn’t much time left. Here’s the full list and what you can do to keep playing after the deadline.

Every Game Leaving Game Pass on October 15

All of these leave the Game Pass library on the same day:

Reports differ slightly on Superball. Some count it as a departing game, while others treat it as an expiring member perk, so the final number is either eight or nine.

How to Keep Playing After They Leave

Once a game leaves the catalogue, you can’t launch it through Game Pass any more. However, you don’t lose everything. If you buy the same game on the same platform, your Xbox saves and achievements usually carry over, so you can pick up where you stopped.

Game Pass members also tend to get a member discount on titles before they leave. So check the Xbox Store today if you want to finish one of these on Xbox or through the Xbox app.

There’s one catch for PC players. Saves from the Xbox app don’t always move to Steam, because the two stores keep their own files. So if you switch to a Steam copy, expect to start over in some games.

Two Cheaper Ways In on PC

If you’re happy to play on Steam, two of these series cost very little. Evil West, the vampire-hunting shooter from this list, is available as a Steam key for around €5.

A Plague Tale: Requiem isn’t the only way into its story, either. The first game, A Plague Tale: Innocence, is also a Steam key for about the same price, and it’s the natural place to start.
